My name is Máté Lehotai, sport has accompanied me throughout my life. Being a sports major, I quickly got used to the physical stress and the demands of it. my parents, teachers, coaches tried to keep me in some area of sports; I swam, ran, played handball, soccer, skated and rode horses. Sport has become a part of my life.
As school and club matches, competitions, and programs became more and more frequent, I had to decide which direction in sports to focus on. The decision was not difficult; riding won.
Acknowledgments and results were also collected in horse riding; the path led from the pony club competitions, through the Championship competitions, to the national team. At that time, I was already riding three horses continuously, and I also competed in international age group competitions abroad.
In the following period, I appeared several times as a member of the national team at the European Championships, individually and as a team, in grand prix and nations' prizes.
At that time, I already felt that this journey was my vocation, as horse owners also contacted me with the aim of recommending horses that I competed in for business purposes.
Learning from practice and learning from theory, and the importance of authenticity motivated me to complete the Horse Trainer Department of the University of Physical Education, as I have already gathered a lot of experience to put them into a system.
